All right everyone, let us introduce ourselves. I would like to know a little bit about the people in this group. I don't mean age or where you are from. You don't have to get all personal. I mean your professional or web persona. Being that this group is for writers, I would like you all to tell the group if you have a blog or what other sites you might be a part of. Now, you don't have to give a web address if you don't want to (but I assume that if you have it up on the web you want someone to read it). Tell us how involved you are in the web community. Are you like TenSpeed and have your own online shop? Do you simply try to confer with other online writers for tips and tricks? Is DA all you have? Do you play games on Facebook all day? Let us know.
So that you get the idea, I'll share. My blog is The Adventures of a Military Housewriter. I have a Facebook and a Twitter account, both of which I am not glued to because reporting my every thought actually bores me to tears. I am a member of SheWrites.com, as I have said in a previous post, and BookCountry.com for genre writers. I used to not be so active online, but I'm trying to shamelessly self promote myself since I want to be published. Sometimes its who you know and not what you can do. There you have it. I have such a limited web presence.
Now I'm counting on you!

Book Recommendations
I just had this amazing thought pop into my head. Yes, I would like to know if there are any books you recommend. Post them in the comments below with why you loved it to death, or simply liked it. If you wrote a review about it, post a link.
I'll start with my recommendation of Kevin Hearne's Iron Druid Chronicles starting with Hounded. If you haven't figured it out already, the books are about, yup, a druid. Group Updates
As some of you have probably noted, the group has had some changes lately. Now you can submit to separate folders instead of having to submits solely to Features. I'm still looking for a poetry admin, so I'm sorry if the Poetry folder seems so little cared for compared to prose.
I'm still trying to think up ideas of what to do with the Features folder. Maybe a contest in the future, but I would need something to reward you all with besides a pat on the back.
